TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention deals with reading/writing of RFID tags in frequency range from UHF to ISM. The invention describes a new topology of the insulating circuit, a quasi-circulator MMIC type, which highly ameliorates the “insulation” level to 50 dbs in comparison to 20 to 30 dbs in the state of the art systems. This new system requires only one antenna in the RFID reading leading to miniaturization. RF power characteristics of the system are optimised through the topology of the active circuit used in the MMIC. Data exchange between passive tag and reader is omnidirectionnal and possible at meter scale in writing and reading mode with only one reading RFID antenna. Due to the use of an antenna impedance compensation loops the system is much less sensitive to environmental perturbations and displacement of antenna. Quasi-circulator performances remain thus optimal even in difficult environment.
