TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention describes compounds with a guanidine structure which can regenerate neuron axons in diseases such as neuropathies and myopathies.
Researchers have shown that in vitro, the compounds induce the growth of axons. Neurite treat with these compounds are longer than control group, and they have a more important arborization and in vivo (animals), the compounds promote the axonal sprouting and increase the demyelinisation of axons in the 'Trembler' model for example.
