CONTEXT
Memory
troubles linked to Alzheimer disease are known to be associated with the loss
of the cerebral cholineric functions through a drop in acetycholine
neuromediator. Current symptomatic therapy aims at increasing the level of
acetycholine by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, the enzyme responsible for
acetylcholine degradation. There is currently a demande for an efficient safe
inhibitor and esay to synthesize as most of current commercialized inhibitors
are hard to synthesize and have side effets.
