TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention describes a device to manufacture metallic nanoparticles supported in a fluidized-bed reactor. The process includes the spraying of an organometallic precursor solution on a fluid bed of inorganic particles as a support, and its further decomposition. The reaction is carried out in mild conditions, the most of the time at room temperature and never higher than 100°C. The solvent evaporates on contact with the particles of the support, which undergoes a better dispersion of the metal inside the pores. The size of the so-obtained supported metal nanoparticles is lower and better controlled and the metal adhesion on the support better than with existing processes.
