The invention concerns specific pancreatic lipase inhibitors and their applications in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, lyperlipemia and obesity, as well as diagnostic reagents and regulating agent in a process of controlled lipolysis of triglycerides. Said inhibitors correspond in particular to a peptide consisting of a C-terminal fragment of pancreatic lipase including the recognition site of a colipase.
