MYTICINS: A NEW CLASS OF MOLLUSCAN ANTIMICROBIAL PEPTIDES
Principal Investigator: P. ROCH
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

This invention concerns a new class of antimicrobial peptides synthesized by molluscs. These molecules, called myticins, were isolated from the edible Mediterranean mussel, Mytilus galloprovincialis.
