Many scientific results showed that several angiogenic factors are capable of inducing, in vitro as well as in vivo, the steps of angiogenesis. Most of these factors (like TGFbeta) are high molecular weight proteins obtained via recombinant approach which increases the cost of the treatment. In the present work, the inventors demonstrate a real angiogenic activity of small molecular weight peptides.
