TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention describes a novel process of protein production/extraction using an electropulsation system in liquid media with a continuous flow. A suspension of yeasts, bacteria or mammal cells used as hosts for protein production is submitted to:
- electrical treatment for the permeabilization of the host membrane
- incubation for the release of proteins
- separation of cells from released proteins
This process is suitable for treatment of large volumes and facilitates the purification of the product of interest.
