TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention describes software for image reconstruction in Computed Tomography (CT), based on algebraic methods. Basic algorithms such as simple or filtered backprojection, as well as state of the art reconstruction algorithms such as ART, SIRT, SART, MART (regularized versions), Level-set and active contour methods, Maximum Entropy (ME), Maximum likelihood EM and many Bayesian inference based methods with different simple or composite Markovian modelling are implemented. A 3D extension of these methods is under developpment.
