TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention describes a method to measure the vibrations of an object with a scattering surface. The system measures large amplitude vibrations of low frequency (acoustic domain). It also measures the instantaneous vibration velocity of the target up to velocities of 1m/s in an optimized geometry. With the use of a dynamic holographic material the measurement can be perform no matter what the surface state of the target and without preparation of the target.
