IMMOBILIZATION OF CHEMICAL SPECIES OR PARTICLES ONTO A SUBSTRATE SUBMITTED TO CORONA EFFECT
Principal Investigator : FRERE Yves

CONTEXT

Grafting chemical species onto fibrous supports like textiles or wood usually requires specific treatment of the support and doesn’t lead to an efficient immobilization. These processes also require the use of toxic organic solvents which leads to higher cost for waste treatment. This invention describes a new type of process allowing an efficient versatile grafting of a great number of various species onto various substrates easy to handle and environment friendly.
