CONTEXT

The genetic testing market for disease prediction has a very high growth rate (estimated at 15% between 2004 and 2011). However, numerous diseases do not have any diagnostic kit yet, particularly obesity and type 2 diabetes, which are nowadays recognised as a polygenic disease.

The prediction of obesity and type 2 diabetes predisposition of a patient would allow taking some efficient measures (e.g. by changing its way of life, prescribing prevention   treatment), in order to lower this risk of apparition or the severity of the disease.
