TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention describes the preparation of new chelating molecules from a common porphyrinoïd backbone, with specific applications in the coordination of alpha particle emission radionucleides. These new chelates can stabilize metals such as bismuth or lanthanides and have been designed to be linked to a monoclonal antibody, for targeting of specific cells. In some instances, the same molecule can be used both as the chelating agent and the link between two antibody fragments.
