MICROCAPSULES GRAFTED ON TEXTILE FIBRES |

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The invention describes composite microcapsules chemically grafted on fibres to obtain new intelligent textiles. These capsules are obtained by interfacial polycondensation. They are grafted by chemical bonds after having modified the membrane surface. The advantage is the strength of the bonds that resist any constraints that the textile can undergo. Grafting can be implemented on natural, artificial, synthesised, woven or non-woven textile fibres. If the microcapsules contain an active ingredient, the latter can trap certain molecules or can be liberated at different speeds depending on the nature and size of the capsule.
