TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
This invention describes the use of extracts or wastes from south America woods for their toxic, repelling and anti-appetent effects against termites. Extracts of polar solvents of grignon wood (Ocotea rubra) and rose wood (Aniba parviflora) have been obtained and been showed having specific properties: extracts from the genus Aniba parviflora present insecticide properties and Ocotea rubra extracts enhance those of Aniba.
