CONTEXT
Many industrial processes, in particular in the pharmaceutical field, use dispersions of solid particles in an organic solvent or emulsions of an aqueous medium in an organic solvent. Mention will be made in particular of processes for encapsulation by coacervation of a coating agent dissolved in an organic solvent, bringing about the deposition of this coating agent at the surface of the particles suspended in the organic solution, and emulsion/solvent extraction or double emulsion processes. These processes involve large amounts of organic solvents, such as halogenated solvents, and are accompanied by high environmental costs.
