The invention describes an easy preparation of polysiloxanes grafted with carbohydrate groups. The preparation is achieved in two steps, the second one being advantageously performed in a short time at room temperature and in homogeneous solution. All percentages of lateral grafting of the siloxane backbone with carbohydrates, from 0 to 100%, can be achieved by this method.
