TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Mycoplasmas are infectious agents that are often involved in various diseases. Different types of mycoplasmas exist, classified according to disease.
The inventors have identified and characterized novel mycoplasmas, present in the blood of patients with or without an HIV retrovirus. Moreover, they have developed a new method to detect, isolate and characterize mycoplasmas.
