TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a murine hybridoma secreting a monoclonall antibody targeting human DcR1. DcR1 is a receptor of the TRAIL receptors family, which are belong to the apoptosis-inducing members of the Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) receptor superfamily. DcR1 behaves as a decoy receptor inhibiting TRAIL-mediated cell death in several cellular systems.
The inventors also developed a control cell line which over expresses a c-myc-tagged chimeric membrane DcR1 protein and so can be used to test the specificity of the produced antibody.
