The broad band aerial comprises two symmetrical parts (2,3) mounted in a common plane, each comprising at least two conductors (4,5,7,8) connected together.
Each limb includes a resistive load (11,12,14,15) in its portion which is opposite the line which supplies the aerial.
Each symmetric part of the aerial may further comprise at least one limb (6,9) not connected to the other limbs (4,5,7,8), and comprising a further resistive load (13,16) in its portion which is opposite the supply line.
